Under the hood, the 2022 INFINITI QX55 is powered by a 2.0 L four-cylinder turbocharged engine using INFINITI's variable compression turbocharging. This special engine is one-of-a-kind and delivers impressive performance combined with remarkable efficiency. The engine delivers 268 horsepower along with 280 lb-ft of torque which is more than just about every other luxury compact SUV in this segment. On the other hand, it averages a fuel consumption rating of under 9 L per 100 km in most situations, and 9.5 L per 100 km if you drive it without worrying too much about fuel economy. In other words, you get V6 levels of performance with 4-cylinder levels of fuel consumption.
